LORICA HAMATA CHAINMAIL SHIRT BUTTED:
The lorica hamata Chain mail shirt used in
Roman
Republic and
Roman Empire time to 2nd century .It was replaced to Lorica Segmentata ,then was reintroduced in the 4th century CE. It was a standard-issue armour for both primary legionaries and secondary troops (Auxilia).
Our Chainmail Lorica Hamata is available in Zinc Plated Steel with leather border. Links are composed of 16 gauge 10MM diameter rings, and butted or riveted. Overall length is 32" and sized to fit chest sizes from 40" up to 52".
