Roman Lorica Segmenta never completely replaced Lorica Hamata (mail)  and Lorica Squamanta (Scala Armor). This high quality Roman Lorica Segmenta is made of 18 guage steel.  A total freedom of movement, flexibility is allowed by this armor. The weight is about 17lbs. 6 oz. Chest size 42” to 46”
